This type of mistake occurs when a group of English words, that have different meanings and uses, can all be translated to a single Spanish word. A good example of this is the word "esperar" which can mean: expect, hope, wait, wish or look forward to. These words are Similar but Different and the problem is knowing when to use each of the five meanings.
